Becky’s Book Corner is pleased to support the The Dignified Learning Project (DLP) Book Drive benefiting their inaugural literacy campaign. To stretch your donation even further, every book donated will be matched 50% by Usborne Books & More’s Literacy for a Lifetime grant. Meaning, every dollar you donate, DLP will receive an additional 50 cents to purchase books for their organization. This will It is a wonderful way to get involved and contribute to students in San Diego. The books will be provided to low-income and homeless youth across our community. Help us reach our goal of $3500!
How to Get Involved:
- Visit the Dignified Learning Project Wish List at Becky’s Book Corner’s online shop.
- Pick a book (or a few!) off the list that you would like to donate to DLP.
- When finishing your order, make sure to select The Dignified Learning Project as the event.
- Select eFair Shipping Option: “Ship with Organization” on the shipping screen. This results in free shipping and the books will be delivered to DLP at the conclusion of the book drive.

About The Dignified Learning Project:
The Dignified Learning Project has one goal: to make equitable education accessible in San Diego based on the idea of dialogical education. We will do this through services, such as teacher training, community engagement – that will explain disparities in our communities and our individual, community, civic, and social responsibilities, as well as student resources, from assisting with the college application process or providing help with developing extracurricular activities.
